Yesterday, Superintendent Ignacio Ruiz welcomed the Legislative Education Study Committee to Organ Mountain High School. It was a valuable opportunity to showcase the incredible work happening in our schools, highlight ongoing challenges and advocate for the support our students and educators deserve.
It will be a battle of the best grill masters as FFA and FCCLA teams from every high school will fire up their grills and compete for the title of Best BBQ in Town. Even Central Office staff will be there to fire up some BBQ!

You know what’s awesome? Recess. But many of our playgrounds need upgrades, such as new slides, swings and more shade to keep kids cool and safe.
That’s where the general obligation bond and mill levy renewal come in. These funds help schools improve playgrounds and create better learning environments for our students.
